Chez the Artist

Chez is a talented Sydney based artist and designer with a truly unique style. Through her work, Chez shares her love of colour and design, influencing lives with her modern and vibrant ideas with combinations of stimulating, mood setting and positive palettes.

Chez takes much of her inspiration from the colours and patterns of Australia’s beautiful city and natural environment, and how they enrich the lives of its people.

Her early interest in art, and talent for geometric design, resulted in an offer of a five year full time art scholarship to a leading Sydney technical art and design facility. Multi-talented, and with other interests driving her, she deferred for a year and life moved on.

Several years later, Chez studied interior decorating and design and was offered a free ticket to join a tour of 23 great art centres of the world.

Chez has worked primarily in the building materials sector, where she has used her talents to help home buyers choose their appliances, accessories, materials and colours – creating spaces, atmospheres and environments which reflected their personalities. 

Chez has always used her artistic colour and design talent to express her personality and positively influence the lives of others.

Her techniques and the materials she uses enable Chez to create the intricate patterns using the bold, rich colours that she loves. Her colourful, vibrant works sit at the intersection of art and design, with the ability to stand as art pieces in their own right, or as the mood setting colour palette for decorating any space in the home or office.

From her structured geometric prints to her abstract landscapes, Chez's artwork is refreshing and worthy of anyone's wall.
